Leprosarium Celebration

Each year the Leprosarium honors the organizations that helped their work during the past year. Last year LDS Charities provided supplies, had branch service projects to repaint benches and acted as a liaison with another donor organization to provide some vital medical equipment for their surgery unit.

 After tours of the Leprosarium and village all gather to the meeting.

 Sheik Said was able to come to the celebration. He has been at the leprosarium for more than fifty years. We are told his name means ruler of happiness and he displays that each time he is greeted.
