You never know what is going to happen at a hygiene kit distribution in Egypt. We went to the event expecting to see poor children putting on a brief play and handing out hygiene kits to them after the performance. We arrived at a wonderful theater downtown Cairo where 50 special needs children did put on a two hour play, followed by a two hour musical concert, followed by acknowledgments and then distribution of the hygiene kits. We learned that once a year they put on this special program as a fund raiser. After the event we were interviewed by several newspaper reporters and a TV news team. Life is full of fun and surprises in Egypt.
